Lazy or Efficient
Since I started using ChatGPT and other large language models, I have been questioning myself over one thing.
Does it make me efficient or just lazier?
I do build systems, scripts, docs, work lists, you name it. I try to reduce my time spent of tasks that were clerical (to me) in nature earlier. However, now, I am not sure if that ease of doing tasks easily is making me efficient or lazy.
I've been trying to recoup this by spending more time reading, exploring, and learning new stuff, that I couldn't give time to.
Still, it feels different and sometimes, wrong.
If it all goes away one day, will we be knowledgeable enough to do more, and will it all come crashing down?
